Our Bohemian Rhapsody fundraiser help on the 8 November was a tremendous success.  The star of the show was Thomas Crane, who brilliantly presented as Freddie Mercury, had the crowd up dancing and singing along.  Tommy donated his time, for which we are most grateful.
Tommy had the crowd spell bound when he was joined on stage for "Barcelona" and another number by opera singer Fiona Mariah.

The guests enjoyed watching the sunset from the event venue, the Reid's Lounge at the Breakwater Tavern, a beautiful setting that looks over the Hillary's marina.  The facility was provided at no cost.

A magnificent cheese platter, kindly donated by European Foods, greeted the guests on their arrival and provided a delicious snack until the steady stream of canapes started flowing from the Breakwater's kitchen.  No one went short of food.

In between Tommy's two sessions, DJ DEZ, Master of Sounds, kept the crowd on the dance floor with his collection of lively music.

At the end of the evening, Tommy posed with his many admirers for photos.
The event was successful in raising over $5,000 for our Cambodia Equipment Hospital Project.  This will fund almost two full containers of recycled hospital equipment to be collected and shipped to Cambodia, enough to supply 60 hospital beds and matrasses.

The Rotary Club of Osborne Park is very grateful to all those who donated their time, food, service and help to enable this to event to occur, including Thomas Crane, DJ Dez Master of Sounds, European Foods and the Breakwater Tavern.  We are also grateful for Viva Photography, who provided the door prize, and Malcolm Taylor and Roger Hunt, who offered their boats for the day for the auction items.
