For the last 13 months our Rotarians have been volunteering at the monthly Community Hubs run by No Limits Perth and the Hepburn Centre.  These hubs bring together a wide range of services to help families who are doing it tough at present.  
 
For the last 13 months our Rotarians have been volunteering at the monthly Community Hubs run by No Limits Perth and the Hepburn Centre.  These hubs bring together a wide range of services to help families who are doing it tough at present.  
 
Services include:
  • Centrelink registrations to help people get registered for pensions and other benefits – critical for people living in their cars or on the streets with no permanent address.
  • Food hampers with fresh fruit and vegetables as well as non-perishables.
  • Hairdressing provided by Scissors4Hair and Tailored Grooming.
  • Mobile laundry services by Positive Spin.
  • Dog washing by Shampoochies Mobile Dogwash.
  • Vet services by RSPCA WA.
  • Pet food donated by suppliers.
  • Second-hand clothes collected by No Limits Perth and the Hepburn Centre.
  • Security provided by Applied Security Force and
  • Members of the Rotary Club of Osborne Park have provided a sausage sizzle and generally helped out.
The numbers attending these Community Hubs has grown month by month as word has got around until around 250 people were queuing an hour before the start of the Christmas hub on 5 December 2024.
